Route 1

From Los Angeles or San Fernando Valley area

Take Interstate 10 Freeway East approximately 100 miles to Banning CA.  At 8th Street Take exit 100 from I-10 to CA Hwy 243 South. Drive into the mountains on CA Hwy 243.

 

Follow CA-243 South to Maranatha Drive in the Idllywild-Pine Cove Community. Turn right onto Maranatha Drive. The Fire Station will be to your right side. Proceed ahead into the campground.

 

Route 2

From Los Angeles, Carson, Compton, Long Beach area to camp through Hemet, CA

 

Take CA Hwy 91 East to Interstate 215 South in the Riverside, Moreno valley area.  Take Highway 74 East through Romoland and Homeland to Hemet. Continue past Hemet and go into the mountains.  Make a left turn onto CA Hwy 243 in the Mountain Center Area and proceed to Idyllwild CA.  In the center of town, make a left turn onto Maranatha Drive (Just beyond the Chevron gas station). Drive into the campground passing the Fire Station to the right side.
